Weather permitting, we'll go *outside where I have some of the following:

 Fenced in back yard
 Swing set
 Riding toys
 Sand / Water table w/umbrella (shade)

* Supervised at all times.

We're not located far from many of the entertainment areas available. Blank Park Zoo is nearby and there are some very nice parks in the area too. Fortunately, entertainment / recreation isn't hard to find on my side of town!

Future home of the Southside-SUPER BLOCK! Some amenities will include: field trip lake access, wild wetland splash pad, Iowa wildlife eco tour, wetland boardwalk, wetland laboratory, an amphitheater and new parks. Long term plans call for an outdoor water park, outdoor aquatic center, ice skating, frozen toboggan run, skiing and even horseback riding!

Downtown Des Moines is also relatively close with just a short drive, making morning or afternoon commutes a cinch.
